Biodata

LEE Kooi Cheng (KC Lee) holds concurrent appointments as Director of the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC), and Deputy College Master of Tembusu College, National University of Singapore (NUS).

KC has co-published course books on academic writing and professional communication for undergraduate students. She is also one of the authors of a series of English language course books for students in Chinese universities. The books have been well received and have gone through a number of reprints. KC has been an invited speaker at conferences on topics related to writing, technology enhanced language learning, and recently learner engagement. KC has developed a keen interest in enquiring the impact of technology for teaching and learning in higher education, and experiential learning and living-learning programmes on undergraduate students’ university experience.

KC serves on a few editorial boards, including the Electronic Journal of Foreign Language Teaching, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in the South (SoTL in the South), Asian Journal of English Language Studies, and the Register Journal.
