TRANSITION PLAN

AY2021/2022, Special Term I & II

[OPT-IN]

• Small group of faculty members are invited to teach their courses on Canvas during AY2021/2022 Special Terms 1 & 2.
• Faculty members are assigned dedicated support for course migration from LumiNUS and setup of their courses in Canvas.
• Dedicated training and support throughout the semester.

AY2022/2023, Semester I

[OPT-IN]

• Faculty members are invited to teach their courses on Canvas.
• All new faculty members will teach their courses on Canvas
• Interested faculty members can also send in requests to teach their courses on Canvas.
• Faculty members are provided personalised and dedicated support for course migration from LumiNUS and setup of their courses in Canvas
• Ongoing training and support throughout the semester.
• Feedback will be gathered from small pilot group of faculty members to refine our transition, communication, training and support processes.

AY2022/2023, Semester II

[ALL ON BOARD]

• All faculty transition to Canvas
• Ongoing training sessions will be provided to support faculty in course migration and set up of their own courses in Canvas
• LumiNUS switched to a read-only status and will remain available for content retrieval only.

AY2023/2024 Semester I

• LumiNUS remains available for content retrieval purposes only, and no new courses can be created on LumiNUS.
