To a stranger, he’s a quirky Singaporean obsessed with toilets, but to those who know him, Jack Sim campaigns for global sanitation. A former entrepreneur, Jack uses humour to advocate for something no one dares talk about - a crisis that impacts over 2 billion people. Having established UN World Toilet Day, Jack is asked to help implement Prime Minister Modi's promise of turning India into a defecation-free zone. With few resources and no help from the government, Jack discovers the difficulties in getting the country to achieve the goal.
Join Mr George Yeo, Visiting Scholar at NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Mr Jack Sim (Public Policy '13) for a post-screening discussion.
