Decentralised Finance (DeFi) is one of the fastest developing new industries within the fintech space, and is a core application of cryptocurrency today. Find out what DeFi and smart contracts are, their advantages over traditional centralised finance, and how new technologies such as blockchains, cryptocurrency, and open banking will shape The Future of Money.

Speaker: Mr Victor Liew (Computing ’12), Co-founder and CTO, Xfers
Victor is the co-founder of Xfers, a Singapore-based payments company which recently launched the XSGD stablecoin that hit US$1 billion in transaction volume in just 4 months. At Xfers, Victor manages the entire engineering team, which handles different product lines ranging from security, hardware, data, blockchain, mobile and web application development.
