- Individuals who are well-connected and keen to reconnect with NUS and fellow alumni are appointed as Global Ambassadors.
- Global Ambassadors are appointed in cities where there are no NUS Alumni Overseas Chapters or Alumni Overseas Circles.
- Global Ambassadors are endorsed and appointed by OAR Director. OAR will endorse up to five Global Ambassadors per city.
- Global Ambassadors are appointed for a two-year term with the possibility of re-appointment.
- Global Ambassadors will organise at least one alumni event a year. For the organisation of alumni events, Global Ambassadors may apply for OAR's seed funding support which may be allocated on a case-by-case basis.

- Form a committee with fellow GAs comprising the required key positions;
- Proven track record in organising successful alumni events with good turnout;
- Have a substantial number of members in the database; and
- Objectives aligned to NUS' vision, mission and values.

- A formalised committee comprising a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.
- Chairpersons are endorsed and appointed by OAR Director.
- NUS Alumni Circle committee members are appointed for a two-year term, with the possibility of re-appointment.
- The committee will organise at least two events a year.
- For the organisation of alumni events, the committee may apply for OAR's seed funding support which will be allocated on a case-by-case basis.

- The committee will organise at least four events a year.
- For business development and the organisation of alumni events, the committee may apply for OAR's seed funding support which will be allocated annually.
