Bronze Zun

Height : 15.5 cm Diameter : 28 cm Qin period 221 - 206BC A wine vessel of bowl shape with a flat bottom, a shallow footring and everted mouth-rim. The entire artefact is supported by three legs in the shape of male figures (possibly slaves) with arms akimbo, naked except for a loin cloth. For decoration, a band of broad ribbing is featured round the mid-girth and two loose ring handles suspended from elaborately wrought animal masks.
