In 2012, Run Training Program (RTP) was introduced and more than 80 staff participated in the different training programs. As a result many of the participants completed the Singapore Bay Run and Standard Chartered Marathon in that year.

This year Wellness hopes to reach out to more staff. No matter what your fitness level, if you are looking to exercise, get fit or fitter, complete an event or improve a better timing, there is a program just for you!

Join us for a introductory talk this 19 April, 1pm at University Hall Auditorium (level 2).

Hear from the previous participants (Run Training Program 2012)

“Heartfelt appreciation for all the tips/advice/encouragements and trainings from you guys. I believed we all enjoyed and benefitted from it. Yes I did the 10km with around 1hr 15mins!” (Wendy)

“I manage completed 10km and had lots of fun... I really benefitted from the training.” (Benson)

“I have never thought or even imagined that I would be able to complete half marathon this year because I have very weak stamina and barely run more than few km in my life. My gratitude to all of you for making me realize that running can be trained and improved with right methodologies. From being totally unfamiliar with running, I now have the courage to sign up for Nike run and full marathon this year.”(Francis Hoang Long)

“Just want to add my appreciation for the training provided and the truck-load of tips. The coaching was professional and you guys delivered it in an approachable style and maturity. For someone who has never ran beyond 2.4km (the requisite distance for IPPT), achieving 21km in about 4 months is truly amazing! This positive experience has opened doors for me and I hope the rest of the gang too!” (Ghazali)

“Thanks for the useful and interesting training! We really benefitted from your experience.”
(Melvin & Gerri)

“I managed to finished the 10km running yesterday without much difficulty, which is a big improvement for me. J Want to thank.. sincerely for your passion and patient (in) training! The training was a wonderful and enjoyable experience for us…” (Wang Yan)
