What is Wellness?
Wellness as defined by the National Wellness Association is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence.

The key works are:
Process that we never arrive at a point where there is no possibility of improving.
Choices that we have considered a variety of options and select those that seem to be in our best interest.
Success is determined by each individual to be their personal collection of accomplishment for their life.


Objectives
The objective of the Wellness Programme is to:
Raise the awareness of staff on the concept and practice of wellness and health
Create opportunities for adoption of healthier choices
Facilitate advancement in life-long learning and application of wellness lifestyles

The wellness programme aims to be holistic in its approach and the topics covered include these six aspects – social, occupational, spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional.
