Exemption

Graduate students (excluding those enrolled in medicine, nursing and dentistry and courses that require additional health requirements) who are NUS staff members or are being employed in local companies may be exempted from the pre-admission medical examination if they have done a SIMILAR medical check-up not more than six months before the time of registration. University Health Centre shall review the exemption on a case by case basis and reserve the right to refuse an exemption.

Note
NUS staff members need only to complete Part I of the Pre-admission Medical Examination Report Form and indicate the date and venue of the medical examination done earlier at the bottom of page 2 of the form;

Non-NUS staff members are required to complete Part I of the Pre-admission Medical Examination Report Form and submit documentary proof of the medical examination performed by a registered medical practitioner, including the chest x-ray and urinalysis report .
