In an effort to safeguard the safety and security of staff and students on campus, NUS has appointed a Crisis & Emergency Management (CEM) Team to develop and maintain a Crisis Management Framework (CMF).

An integral part of the whole framework is the CARE (Caring Action in Response to an Emergency) Network. Members of faculty and staff are selected by the Unit Incident Commander (UIC) to provide basic psychological intervention in an event of a critical incident or crisis.

Members undergo different types of training to prepare for this role.

If you would like to be a CARE member, please contact your faculty's respective UIC to indicate your interest.
