What's important? Randy Pausch explains in The Final Lecture
In December 2007, Randy Pausch was invited to give a lecture at Carnegie Mellon, as if it was his last lecture before he died. Only, it was true. He was facing death. He had pancreatic cancer and had been told he had 3-6 months to live. He called his talk: 'Achieving Your Childhood Dreams', but ended up explaining his belief that "you can't control the cards you're dealt, just how you play the hand" and that if you lead your life the right way, your dreams will come to you. Randy Pausch died 7 months later in July 2008.Watch this inspiring, humorous talk which is bound to lift your spirits and motivate you to seize the day! |
