01. I am not ready for counselling yet but I want to learn more about the problems
I am currently facing. Where can I get the information?
Our website provides a comprehensive list of self-help articles and tests which you may find beneficial.
While these materials are readily available on our website, we encourage students to seek a proper consultation at CPS about your concerns, especially when the problem has been occurring for a long time.
02. I do not want to seek counselling here at NUS. Where can I get help outside
NUS?
Family and community services are available for individuals island-wide. You may like to refer to the Ministry of Social and Family Development web portal for a comprehensive list of agencies available. You may also want to refer to the list of off-campus resources provided for your convenience on this site.
03. Are other resources for help available beyond counselling and group?
Links to psycho-educational self-help articles are available on the website.
If you have a Twitter account, you may also want to follow us @ActivateUrLife for weekly updates of current and interesting self-help articles. Beyond these, we are currently in the process of developing more resources for help for staff and students of NUS.
