About Us
Counselling & Psychological Services (CPS), formerly known as Counselling Centre, became a division of the University Health Centre in January 2006.

Prior to this, CPS was a division of the Office of Students Affairs (OSA) and was known as Personal Guidance and Counselling Service (PGCS).

In recent years, CPS’s services have expanded to meet the university's needs.  It has become more visible and its team of professional counsellors and psychologists has increased in numbers, diversity and talent.

Rigorous professional ethics guide the CPS team. In addition, we always strive to take into account the client’s best interests, and acknowledge, respect and affirm the strengths in each client.

In challenging and difficult times, let us offer you a pair of fresh eyes, a listening ear, a supportive hand and … most importantly, our presence as companions on your journey.
