Dear CARE Members

In preparation for your role as companions during a crisis, you are encouraged to attend a one-day “Managing Crisis Reactions” (MCR) course.

The course aims to help CARE Members in the following:
         (1) Understand the roles of CARE Members / Network during a crisis event.
         (2) Learn the elements of crisis intervention using a framework from the National Organisation for Victim
               Assistance (NOVA) in the US.
         (3) Learn basic listening and responding techniques so that CARE Members will be able to respond sensitively
               and compassionately.

Register for one of the dates if you have not attended any MCR training.
