Full-time Singaporean (citizens and Permanent Residents) undergraduate students are required to subscribe to this scheme.
The fee is S$30.00 for each semester. It will be included in the mandatory Miscellaneous Fees of the student bill on a semester basis.

ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR OVERSEAS STUDY PROGRAMMES

All full-time local (Singaporeans and Permanent Residents) undergraduate students are strongly advised to have adequate medical coverage when travelling overseas for exchange or study programmes.

The NUS Medical Scheme does not cover overseas outpatient medical treatment of illnesses including hospitalization, except accident treatment which requires immediate medical attention.

You may wish to contact any insurer for detailed information to provide such coverage to suit your need during your stay overseas on study programmes or other related activities.
