Rendered 40 years of Government service in concept formulation, system engineering, acquisition management, tests and evaluation, people development and development of organisations and capabilities

Developed the “Conception to Retirement”systems approach which became a methodology for project planning and development at MINDEF

Contributed to the development of Singapore’s Air Defence System, Command and Control Systems, and Air and Naval Bases

Played a significant role in the development of defence industries, Civil Defence Shelters and rock caverns in Singapore
