CHINA: An International JournalIt is with great pleasure that we announce the first issue of volume four of China: An International Journal (CIJ). Based outside China, America and Europe, CIJ aims to present diverse international perceptions and frames of reference on contemporary China, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. We hope to help China scholars keep abreast of developments in a wide range of fields pertaining to China Studies. We welcome cutting edge research articles (10,000 words), comments and notes related mainly to policy formulation and implementation (5,000 words), and review articles (10,000-word reviews of 3 or more books on the same topic). The unique final section of this journal offers a chronology and listing of key documents pertaining to developments in relations between China and the 10 ASEAN member-states. CIJ is available by subscription only. In addition to normal print subscriptions, we are pleased to announce that we will offer online subscriptions through Project MUSE, a consortium of university presses led by Johns Hopkins University Press. Working with MUSE allows us to offer online-only subscriptions at a low US$ 32.00 per year. For print, and combined print/online subscriptions, please click here. Any questions should be directed to our subscription manager at nusbooks@nus.edu.sg. For further information about online subscriptions, please ask your librarian to contact MUSE at muse@muse.jhu.edu.
