Extension of Student’s Pass |
| |
|
| |
You are advised to submit your request for extension of Student’s Pass to the Registrar’s Office using the Application for Extension of Student Pass Form at least one month and not more than two months before the expiry date of your current Student’s Pass.
Please note that you must surrender your current student pass at ICA for cancellation at least 7 days before the date of expiry, at which a short term visit pass will be issued for you to complete the formalities for the issuance of the new student's pass.
All applications for extension of Student’s Pass will be submitted through the Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority [ICA] web-based Student’s Pass Online Application and Registration [SOLAR] system by the Registrar’s Office upon receipt of your request.
Once the application has been submitted, you will be informed via email to verify the information entered into the SOLAR system as well as to submit eForm 16 online. Upon approval of the application by ICA, you will be notified via email to collect the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter at the Registrar’s Office.
You may be requested by the ICA to go for another medical examination at the point of renewal, which must be done in Singapore.
Note: It is an offence to overstay without a valid pass. Students who forgot to extend their Student’s Pass on time and stayed in Singapore with an invalid immigration pass will be fined.
