For graduate students, concurrent degree programmes (CDPs) typically involve a combination of a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the same Faculty or from two different Faculties. Such programmes allow a student to pursue the two degrees concurrently. Normally, the programme structure would enable a student to graduate in a shorter period of time with both degrees, than if each degree was to be pursued separately.
