Some of the university & faculty requirements for BSocSci(Hons) degree will be met by the compulsory Law
modules. The law compulsory module on LC1005 Singapore Legal System satisfies the Singapore Studies requirement. Two other perspective Law
modules- LC1002 Introduction to Legal Theory and LC2001 Comparative Legal Traditions- satisfy the faculty requirements.
Students in the program take a total of 20 modular credits of modules to meet other requirements of the BSocSci(Hons) degree:
- Singapore Studies : LC1005 Singapore Legal System (4MCs)
- LC1002 Introduction to Legal Theory (4MCs) and LC2001 Comparative Legal Traditions (4 MCs)
- Modules Outside the Majors – two elective modules (8MCs) must be taken outside Economics and Law. These may be either GEM, Singapore Studies (maximum 4 MCs) or disciplinary modules)
