NUS President elected as head of prestigious alliance
The Straits Times - 10 June 2009

Prof Tan Chorh Chuan is now the head of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU), a strategic grouping of 10 of the world's leading universities. Prof Tan was unanimously elected as the new chair of IARU at a meeting held in Cambridge in April this year.
