We will be discontinuing our subscription of Chemwatch commercial MSDS service with effect from April 2005 due to the following reasons:

 

1.      The take up rate for this software in the University has been relatively low

2.      There are a number of free MSDS databases available on the internet.
   A detailed listing  of such sites is given below.

3.      Regulations require the chemical supplier to provide you a MSDS of the chemical,
   it is important that you  have the MSDS that matches the composition,
   physical properties, of the chemical you are using.
