01 Invitation for IVP 2009

NUS Taekwondo will be taking part in the annual Inter Varsity Polytechnic League held at Nanyang Technological Univeristy in March 2010. Our team will be taking part in the sparring (Kyorugi) and pattern (Poomsae) sections of the tournament. We are extending a warm welcome to all NUS students with taekwondo background to join us in this annual tournament.

Please note that for the Kyorugi section, only blue, brown and black belt holders are allowed to take compete.

All participants for the tournament will need to join NUS Taekwondo Club for consistent training. We treat the attendance of our participants very seriously to ensure that all players are well trained to take part in the tournament.

02 Zambiacongo Singapore Capoeira Workshop

04 Muscle and Fitness War 2010

Muscle and Fitness War (MFW) 2010 comes home to NUS!

The MFW is an annual, self-funded amateur bodybuilding event organized by NUS Health and Fitness Club in liaison with the Singapore Body Building Federation (SBBF), to promote bodybuilding as a sport and notion of health and fitness among tertiary students and the general public in Singapore.

This widely anticipated event will be held on 23rd January 2010 at our very own NUS Multi-Purpose Sports Hall 2.
4 Competition Categories:

1) Men's Open
2) Tertiary Classic (<= 170cm)
3) Tertiary Classic (> 170cm)
4) Fitness (for female participants)

Contestants stand to win attractive prizes such as cash vouchers and gift hampers! Sign up between 1 and 30 Nov 2009 for the special early-bird price of just $10! Registration closes on 15 Jan 2010.
