01 Splashdown 2009

Splashdown is a 3-hour swim event held annually by the NUS University Lifeguard Corps. Participants swim as many laps as they can in exchange for goodies and prizes. There will also be lifesaving demonstration, mystery games and discounted Arena & RYDERS products on sale on that day!

02 NUS 8-Ball Carnival 2009

NUS Cue Sports will be holding its annual 8-ball carnival on the 19th September 2009 at Mambo Billiards from 11am - 6pm.

The registration booths will be as follow:
1) 3-4 Sept at FASS (Along AS6 Walkway)
2) 10-11 Sept at Engineering Fac (Outside LT 6)
3) 14-15 Sept at Science (Outside LT 25)

With only $12 registration fee, you get to enjoy free tournament time and a chance to win a cue in our lucky draw. Winners from both the male and female category get to walk away with trophies and cue. Want to pit your skills against the best players in NUS or just want to try out playing competitively? Interested in intellectual games? Want to pick up a new game or improve your skill? If your answer is yes, then NUS Intellectual Games Club is the club for you! NUS Intellectual Games Club is recruiting members. The games we play are International Chess, Chinese Chess, Weiqi (Go) and Reversi (Othello). This club is suitable for people of all levels, whether you are a beginner or an advanced player.

The objective of the club is to create a platform for intellectual game enthusiasts to come together to interact and learn from one another. We aim to let members improve their game and enjoy training at the same time. Besides that, we also hope to give members the chance to interact and know one another. To achieve this, we organise bonding activities for members from time to time.

The details of our training sessions are as follows:

Time: Every Tuesday 6.30 pm to 10 pm
