At OSA, induction programmes are organised for student leaders to be more effective in carrying out their activities. The briefing session covers mainly OSA guidelines, financial procedures, and issues on corporate identity and safety guidelines.

The inaugural Student Leaders Induction Camp (SLiC) was conducted in 2009 for student leaders to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to better manage their student organisations. SLiC also provides a platform for student leaders from different organisations to get to know other leaders, share best practices and build networks.
