NUS students are encouraged to shape the Singapore they want to live in through their active involvement in its vast range of activities. Through their involvement in the community, they gain a unique learning experience built not just on a desire for personal enrichment, but also guided by a call to create a place they want to call home.

  The National Youth Council (NYC) is the national co-ordinating body for youth affairs in Singapore.

  The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) promotes volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore, working in partnership with the public, people and private sectors.

  The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) promotes active citizenry at home and abroad, helping Singaporeans appreciate their place in the world community while reaching out to the world with a hand of warm friendship.
