ssyeap

Dear Students

The 40th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) is now open for application!

SSEAYP is an annual programme sponsored by the Japanese government and supported by the member countries of ASEAN.  Started in 1974, SSEAYP brings together about 300 youths from all ten ASEAN countries and Japan, providing them with the unique opportunity to interact on board the ship and different ports-of-call for more than 50 days.

SSEAYP aims to foster friendship and greater understanding among youths from Japan and ASEAN and to broaden their international outlook.  The 40th SSEAYP is scheduled to be held from 28 October to 17 December 2013.  During this period, five of the ten ASEAN countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Singapore, Philippines) and Japan will be visited.

Please read Annex B to find out about the eligibility criteria and conditions for participation. To apply, you can fill up the application form here
