Career Fairs
NUS Career Fair The NUS Career Fair is the largest on-campus recruitment event of the year. It features the largest number of employers across different industries and offers a great opportunity to research and find your dream job. Held at the beginning of each year, this is the perfect occasion to ask about recruitment criteria and company culture as you network with HR and Business representatives.
NUS e-Career Fair The NUS e-Career Fair is a virtual fair that showcases leading companies with graduate openings from April – July every year. An e-collaboration between the NUS Career Centre and Jobs Central-BrightMinds, this convenient portal allows you to browse though job openings by job categories, and submit applications online.
On-Campus Interviews
On-campus interviews are additional avenues for seeking employment by meeting with recruiters in the comfort of interview rooms at the NUS Career Centre.
NUS GradHunt NUS GradHunt is a campus-based interview event held every October and March for graduating cohorts. You can seek employment by meeting with employers right here at the NUS Career Centre.
*Companies can also choose to conduct on-campus interviews on an ad-hoc basis throughout the academic year.
NUS JobsConnect (http://nusjobsconnect.nus.edu.sg/event/) The NUS JobsConnect is an innovative event that combines the elements of virtual and physical platforms for pre-scheduled and walk-in campus interviews as well as mass networking, all with the aim of increasing job match between you and potential employers.
Typically held around May or June after your examinations, it is a great way to engage employers with ready positions for graduating students. Students can apply for jobs posted by participating employers via the event portal one month prior to the event. The portal remains ‘live’ for another month for graduating students who missed the opportunity to attend the event.
Networking Sessions
Industry Networking Sessions Industry-based networking sessions are informal settings for engaging with employers from specific sectors to enquire about industry trends as well as internships opportunities and job openings. Usually held at the faculty/school level, it provides a targeted platform for students from specialised disciplines to network with employers in specific industries of interest.
Alumni-Student Networking Sessions Alumni-Student networking sessions are opportunities for you to establish direct contact with your seniors who are in the workforce. Aside from information on career opportunities, these sessions allow you to meet with alumni and learn from their work experiences.
Senior-Junior Mentorship Networking Sessions Senior-Junior Mentorship Networking Sessions are perfect opportunities to hear first-hand internship experiences from your seniors as well as their reasons for choosing a particular specialization.
