Are the services and programmes at the NUS Career Centre for graduating NUS students only?
Ans: No, our services and programmes are catered for all NUS students. In fact, we strongly encourage Year 1 students to participate in our programmes and meet with their career advisors to plan how they can maximize their NUS education and have a fulfilling and meaningful student life.
Do I need to pay for the services and programmes at the NUS Career Centre?
Ans: Most of the career services provided are complimentary to NUS students. There are however some workshops that students have to pay a nominal fee to attend.
Career Modules (i.e. NCC1001: HeadStart and NCC1000: StepUp)
How do I register for the HeadStart and StepUp Career Modules?
Ans: To register for NCC1001: HeadStart or NCC1000: StepUp and select your tutorial slots, drop by the NUS Career Centre at the Yusof Ishak House.
Career and Professional Development Workshops
How do I register for the career workshops?
Ans: Head down to the NUS Career Centre to register and make payment for these workshops.

Qn: How do I login to the NUS eJob Centre?
Ans: Key in your matriculation card number and your assigned 6-digit numerical PIN.

How can the NUS Career Centre assist employers with our graduate recruitment?
Ans: As a centralised Career Services Office for NUS students across all majors and disciplines, we are the focal point of contact for employers who want to reach out to NUS talents and the community, which includes students, student clubs, alumni, faculties and the departments.

My company has some vacancies to fill. How do we publicise these vacancies on campus and how do we recruit on campus?
Ans: You may post up your job openings (full time, part-time or temporary assignments) free of charge on the NUS eJob Centre, an online job portal exclusive to NUS students and alumni. To do so, you need to have an account with us. Download the application form here.

When are the student vacations?
Ans: Students vacations take place from May to August, and from December to January. Please refer to our academic calendar for more details.

Is the NUS Career Centre able to provide career advisory to NUS alumni?
Ans: Yes, we do provide career advisory service to NUS alumni.
Qn: Do alumni still have access to the NUS eJob Centre (online job portal)?
Ans: Yes, alumni may login to the NUS eJob Centre using with their name and NRIC/FIN number.
