The concept of learning today has taken on a wider meaning than the mere acquisition of knowledge. There are also many other useful skills that are better exemplified and modeled through activity participation; very often outside the classroom. We actively seek to nurture NUS students by creating peer leadership and learning opportunities through various broad-based and outdoor experiential programmes.
Our activities are designed to provide students with the opportunities to:
- learn the importance of taking responsibility for their own actions;
- develop care and concern for others;
- have a greater sense of self-confidence to deal with challenges and the unknown as well as;
- learn the importance of working as a team.
