Loss of Passport (Dependent’s Pass/Student’s Pass)
Step to do when you lose your foreign passport while in Singapore.
Step 1: Report the lost of your passport at any Police Station, Neighbourhood Police Centre or Neighbourhood Police Post, without delay.
Step 2: Contact your Embassy, High Commission or Consular Office to apply for a replacement of your travel document.
You may refer to the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs website (www.mfa.gov.sg) for the address or Contact details of the Foreign Missions Accredited to Singapore.
Step 3: Report to the Visitor Services Centre, 4th floor of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Building to regularise your stay once you have obtained your temporary/replacement travel document or any documentary proof that you have applied for a replacement travel document, you are required to bring along the following documents
- Police report (original & photocopy)
- 2 passport size photographs
- Identification paper – e.g. photocopy of the passport/identity card/letter from the Embassy/student pass/identity card, etc
- Letter from the school (original) - Student Status Letter from NUS
- Disembarkation/Embarkation form for visitors (Form IMM27E)
- Accompanying person’s identity card (original & photocopy)
Once ICA has ascertained your legal entry into Singapore, you will be granted a visit pass on your temporary/replacement travel document to facilitate your departure.
