Dependant's Pass Holders Applying to study in an Institute of Higher Learning

Dependant's Pass holder who wishes to study in NUS, is also required to apply for a Student's Pass (application must be made through SOLAR). However, if the duration of the course is shorter than the duration of the Dependent's Pass, the student may opt to be issued with a Letter of Consent (LOC) to study in the institute.

Applications should be submitted personally to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and should include Form 16 and a letter from NUS stating the course and duration of your study. You will be informed by ICA of the outcome by post. Form 16 is available in ICA and at Students Service Centre.
