All NUS full-time matriculated undergraduate students are members of NUSSU; they are also members of their respective faculty clubs and all non-faculty-based clubs.
Their mission is
- To promote and safeguard the interests of the members of Union within the University.
- To uphold and respect the dignity and equality of every member of the Union without regard to religion, race or politics.
- To promote the welfare of members within the University.
