About Singapore General Information

Getting around in Singapore is easy, economical and convenient. An efficient public transportation network offers taxis, buses and the modern Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rapid Transit (LRT) rail system.

TransitLink is a service company set up by SBS Transit and SMRT to develop an integrated public transport system by bringing buses, the MRT and the LRT together as one comprehensive network.

Operating Hours

Ticketing office at Clementi Station
8am - 9pm
*Closed for meal break from 3.45pm to 4.45pm

Ticketing office at Buona Vista Station
12nn to 730pm (Weekdays & Saturday only)
*Closed on Sunday and Public Holidays

Note: Operating hours of Ticket Office at different locations vary from place to place.

Fares may be paid in cash or by EZ–Link Card, which can be used on both MRT and buses. The EZ–Link Card may be revalued up to a maximum of S$100 at General Ticketing Machines (GMT) / sales counters at MRT stations/bus interchanges.

A Transitlink Guide for Bus and Rail Services (at S$2.50) is available at all Transitlink Ticket Offices and Concession Card Replacement offices in MRT Stations and bus interchanges as well as major book stores. New editions are printed annually.
