Temasek Hall of Residence offers accommodation to 485 residents. It has five residential blocks linked to a distinctive communal hall that includes a multi-purpose function room, computer room linked to the Univeristy network, TV and hi-fi room, and reading room, all of which are air-conditioned. The versatile communal hall also houses indoor sports facilities such as squash courts, and a games and recreation room.
Situated near the Arts, Business Administration and Law Faculties, Temasek Hall is well-served by the internal shuttle bus service. The other Faculties and campus facilities are but a short bus ride away.
Home comforts are provided in the cosy, air-conditioned lounge. Block kitchenettes are equipped with refrigerators, microwave ovens, cooking stoves and a hot water dispenser. Each block has its own laundry facilities, telephone and an intercom system providing connection with the rest of the campus community. Each room also has a telephone line and computer plug and play point, ensuring free and easy access to the internet.
The Hall offers a range of activities to cater to individual’s interest, be it creative, intellectual, cultural or sports. Temasek Hall has always been known for her achievements in both the cultural and sporting arenas, staging annual productions and excelling in the Inter-Hall Games.
