Full time NUS Undergraduate students may apply for a place in the Halls of Residences, Student Residences or Residential Colleges (applicable only to students who are admitted to the UTRP or USP).
The Halls are known for their vibrant CCA, rich history and culture. Residents are expected to participate actively in hall activities. Meals are catered and residents are required to subscribe to the catering service.
Students staying in the Residences participate in activities organised by their campus-wide clubs, societies and interest groups. The Residences offer independent living in a communal setting with opportunities for cross cultural interaction.
Residential Colleges provide a unique learning and living environment. Residents have the opportunity to combine the vibrancy of campus living with an exciting academic programme. Meals are catered and residents are required to subscribe to this catering service. The Cinnamon College is primarily for students who are admitted to the University Scholars Programme (USP) whereas the Tembusu and College of Alice & Peter Tan are primarily for students who are admitted to the University Town Residential Programme (UTRP).
Some rooms have been designed specifically for students with special needs. If you have special needs due to a serious medical condition, you should indicate them clearly in your application form so that we can allocate the most appropriate room available.

For AY12/13 and AY13/14, Residential College 4 will be operating as a Student Residence similar to PGP, RVR, KFH or UTown Residence. However, residents are required to subscribe to a compulsory meal plan. For students staying in University Town, please be advised that construction works are currently ongoing.
