Venue Guide
- CENTRAL LIBRARY FORUM
The Central Library Forum is the area (Approx 800 SQ/M) in front of the NUS Co-Ops Shop at the Central Library. It is suitable for holding musical performances and events such as bazaars as well as non-overnight orientation activities.
Do note that tables and chairs are not provided at this venue. Users can refer to OED’s list of Term Contractors: http://www.nus.edu.sg/oed/services/logistics/index.htm
- PLAZA@YIH
The Plaza@YIH is the area (Approx 860 SQ/M) right next to the Yusof Ishak House. It is suitable for holding musical performances and events such as bazaars as well as non-overnight orientation activities.

- LT 27 FOYER (Inclusive of LT28 & LT29 Foyers)
The LT 27 Foyer is the area outside LT 27 (Approx 680 SQ/M), is inclusive of the foyers of LT 28 & 29. It is suitable for holdin events such as bazaars as well as non-overnight orientation activities.

The recommended noise level should not exceed 90 decibels.
- CENTRAL LIBRARY LEVEL 4 WALKWAY BENCHES (CLB1 – CLB5)
The walkway has 5 table-benches just outside the Central Library which are ideal for simple, small "non-bazaar activities" such as registrations, sales of tickets, recruitment drives, publicity etc. (Do note that the FASS Walkway benches nearby are not listed with us, FASS venue bookings can be contacted via email provided at the bottom of this page).
- LT 26 FOYER Bench
The LT26 Foyer Bench is located next to the Frontier Canteen, in Faculty of Science. It is suitable for simple, small "non-bazaar activities" such as registrations, sales of tickets, recruitment drives, publicity etc.
Eligibility
Only registered NUS Student Organisations and NUS Departments are eligible for open venue bookings.
Currently there are no provisions for external (general public) bookings or individual student bookings.
Note: - There will be no booking of of venues 3 weeks before and during examinations. - There is no provision of "Organizers contacts" list for each individual venue. - All applications need to include table of information (see below). Applications without the table of information will be pushed back in line for the booking queue. - Please see "Open Venue Guidelines" below for further information/instructions.

External vendors or individual NUS student looking for single booths/tables in bazaars/carnivals are to contact the student organizers directly. OSA Facilities Section are not allowed to be involved in sourcing of vendors / price negotiation / allocation in events, on behalf of individuals.
OPEN VENUES GUIDELINES
- For open venues – Central Library Forum, LT27/28/29 Foyer, Plaza@YIH, Central Library benches CLB1-CLB5 and LT26 Foyer bench.
- Applicants are advised to appoint only one contact person, this is to avoid confusion or complications during the booking process.
- Each official student organizations/club/group/society is only allowed to organize one bazaar (or similar in nature) per academic semester.
- A minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 3 days in a row, non-midweek. (Eg. Mon-Tues, Mon-Wed or Thurs-Fri, Wed-Fri) per academic semester.
- Open venues are subject to availability and booking is processed on a “first-come-first-served” basis.
- Rejected applications will have their reserved slots released.
- Please send your proposals to the relevant OSA staff officer in-charge for approval (not OSA Facilities, please refer here for list of officers for student groups). - Rejected applications will have their reserved slots released.

OSA has drawn up the Guidelines on Use of OSA Administered Facilities to govern the use of the facilities.
Any infringement found during your booking is subject to the Schedule of Suspensions.
