Completed in 1996, Kent Vale was envisioned to support the University’s mission in attracting talented academics.
Located within walking distance from the Kent Ridge Campus, Kent Vale has 516 units that houses both short-term and long-term faculty members. With modern amenities and a diverse mix of international residents, Kent Vale houses more than 1,000 faculty members and their family members every year.
Various amenities such as the West Coast Community Centre, West Coast Plaza, a wet market, shophouses, eateries, Clementi Woods, and the West Coast Park are of close proximity to Kent Vale.
Offering a good mix of apartment types, KV2 offers flexible on-campus accommodation options that would suit your stay. Familes, couples or singles will find that the 3-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom apartments suit their respective needs.
From the design stages, KV2 was made to be eco-friendly to support the University’s sustainability efforts. This attention to sustainability won KV2 the BCA’s Green Mark ‘Platinum’ award.

Kent Vale offers 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments to accommodate faculty members who are either here on their own or with their families.
For faculty members who may be here by themselves, 2-bedroom apartments offer the best mix of space and flexibility should there be a need for domestic help or entertainment.
With enough space for a small family, the 3-bedroom apartments let faculty members live comfortably with their families.

Kent Vale offers many amenities that caters to both adults and children. Being linked to the main Kent Ridge Campus through a covered walkway and a sheltered overhead bridge across Clementi Road, residents can get to the main campus without worrying about the weather. There are also free internal shuttle bus services to both the main and Bukit Timah campuses.
Located beside Clementi Woods and West Coast Park, avid park-goers can enjoy a slow stroll or some exercise among lush greenery. Various amenities such as the West Coast Community Centre, West Coast Plaza, a wet market, shophouses and many other eateries are within 5 minutes walk from Kent Vale.
