Security Matters

Residents are advised to take precautions to protect their homes.

1. Lock all exterior doors and grilles at all times with good quality padlock.
   
    
2. Never give keys to strangers for home repair or renovations.
   
    
3. Never leave notes announcing your absence. If you are going away for holiday, never leave tell tale signs of your absence. Cancel daily deliveries of newspaper. Ask your neighbour to keep an eye on your unit. Inform the Security Officer about your absence.
   
    
4. Do not keep expensive jewellery or large sum of money at home. Keep them in the bank.
   
    
5. Do not hide keys under mats, mailboxes or anywhere else where they can be easily found.
   
    
6. If you notice suspicious or non bona-fide visitors, inform the Kent Vale Security Officer (tel. no. 6776 8865) or Singapore Police Force (tel. no. 999).
