Plant-A-Tree (PAT) 2012 Reflections
For the fourth time, NUSSU Students Against Violation of the Earth (SAVE) has successfully held its Plant-A-Tree (PAT) event on 29th May 2012 since its inauguration on 10th October 2010! What’s special this time round is having the NUS Community – both students and staff- joining us!

Working with NUS Office of Estate & Development, the 2 plots allocated for PAT are CDTL, near Central Library and also Biz Faculty beside LT18 & 19! Alongside many dedicated individuals, NUS Engine Rag Committee also participated in this significant cause to reinforce the environmental goal of RAG (making use of recycled materials to create their floats)! While at Biz Faculty, the BIZAD students actually suggested the planting location in a bid to see more greenery to reduce heat around LTs 18/19 so that the openair stairway will be more utilised! Plaques were also presented to the donors and student groups for their concerted efforts in supporting campus greening. If you have missed out the PAT event this time round, fret not! PAT is held every semester and the next event will be around September! Get your hands Green, and join us in the next planting! Meanwhile, visit our FB Page for GREEN UPDATES on the go! https://www.facebook.com/nusfightsclimatechange All suggestions and feedback are welcomed too! By NUSSU SAVE |
