2nd Pulau Ubin (Sensory Trail)

Because of overwhelming response from the NUS community for our recent Sensory Trail visit to Pulau Ubin, the NUS Campus Sustainability Committee will be organising another field trip on 24 July 2004 (Saturday morning). For those of you who are new to Singapore - Pulau Ubin is an island (of 1019 hectares) off the northeastern coast of Singapore. If you wish to experience the flora & fauna surrounding the island come and join us at Npark’s unique Sensory Trail. The walk is easy-going and takes about 1½ hours to complete. This is an excellent introduction to the rustic and natural character of the island. You will be able to touch, see or smell fruit trees, spices and herbs for cooking, plants used in traditional medicine and native plants of the mangrove forest.

You are cordially invited to participate in the coming visit. Please register for the visit by providing
