On account that Halls may lease out their facilities during the holiday months, the following months shall be excluded from the tabulation of the electricity and water usage component of the InterHall Environmental Awards:
May, June, July and December.

Also, in order to have sufficient time for collating the competition results before NUS Excellence Day, the following months shall be excluded from the tabulation of the electricity and water usage component of the InterHall Environmental Awards:
January and February.
