Be Part of Earth Hour
As part of Earth Hour’s “I Will If You Will” challenge, NUSSU SAVE (Students Against Violation of the Earth) is issuing a challenge to the NUS community – if there are 1000 pledges to walk for a day, we will host a FREE BIKE DAY for everyone! We will provide bicycles for free borrowing in campus.

The walking challenge will be in the week (18th – 22nd March) leading up to Earth Hour 2013 (23rd March). So get out in your comfortable shoes: to exercise, to save time, to reduce carbon emissions!

During that week, pass by any of our signposts along these routes:
Route 1: UTown bus stop to outside present Natural History Museum
Route 2: Arts to YIH – sheltered way (pass by Chinese Library)
Route 3: Kent Ridge MRT to Science (pass by Starbucks at Medicine)

Remember the signpost codes, and PLEDGE your commitment here! We will verify the code, and there will be 30 lucky winners for movie tickets! You can pledge more than once.

In addition, SAVE will organize a movie screening with post-screening discussion. The movie screenings will be “Story of Bottled Water”, “Story of Stuff” and “Story of Electronics”.

Venue: Yusof Ishak House (YIH) Student Lounge
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Date: 22nd March 2013
