REAP (short for Responsible Energy Advocates Programme) is a sustainability programme wholly sponsored by PowerSeraya.
It aims to develop tertiary students to be energy advocates in Singapore by:
| Raising their awareness on energy conservation | |
| Training them to assist households in implementing energy solutions | |
| Engaging them in project work for the benefit of the wider community |
REAP is jointly developed by PowerSeraya with founding partners National Environment Agency and South West Community Development Council. Since its inaugural launch in 2010, REAP has been growing from strength to strength. In 2012, the programme was expanded to include associate partner South East Community Development Council.
Why REAP is unique...
| PowerSeraya is the 1st energy company to have an energy-related programme targeted at households in Singapore. | |
| REAP is the only 3P (People-Private-Public) sustainability programme developed in partnership with the National Environment Agency and South West CDC, that is centric on energy conservation and one that holistically integrates the components of education, community service and project work to benefit the students as well as the community. |
