The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy has launched a first-of-its kind Southeast Asian leadership programme to support far-sighted, first-mover business leaders in spearheading an ambitious re-think of how we thrive in the face of 21st century sustainability challenges.
Southeast Asia’s vulnerabilities to climate change, resulting insecurities around energy, food and water and other political, security and social risks pose unpredictable and complex disruptions to the operating environment. For business, these eventualities merit serious attention.
The Business Leadership on Climate Change senior executive programme runs from 14 – 17 September 2010 in Singapore. It is designed for C-suite executives who will – through their thought leadership and strategic decision-making - drive a progressive agenda that enables robust risk management and delivers the transformative changes necessary to reframe challenges as opportunities.
Designed in collaboration with the University of Cambridge’s Programme on Sustainability Leadership, the programme:
 |
instils a holistic understanding of the critical issues on climate change and effects on business; |
 |
builds scenarios thinking skills that enable effective management of complex change; and |
 |
engages delegates with state-of –the-art leadership methodologies. |
The aim is to create a forum of excellence for bold, committed and influential corporate leaders who will shape a sustainable future for Southeast Asia.
Deadline of application: 16 July 2010
