The NUS Sustainability Fund is an initiative under the NUS Fights Climate Change Campaign. The Fund is administered by NUSSU Students Against Violation of the Earth (SAVE) and managed by a management panel consisting of Dr Peck Thian Guan and representatives from Office of Students’ Affairs (OSA), Office of Environmental Sustainability (OES), Office of Estate and Environment (OED), NUS CO-OP, NUSSU and NUSSU SAVE.
The aim of the NUS Sustainability Fund is to encourage the NUS community to take initiative in coming up with environmental projects that would benefit the community in terms of environmental sustainability, and to enable groups who are interested in embarking on their own environmental projects to achieve a greater outreach and impact. It is also hoped that this will be a platform to develop and create opportunities for student leaders to make a positive impact on campus sustainability.
If you have any green initiatives you would like to implement, we would like to invite you to send your application for this fund. You may submit your project proposals and applications using the attached templates. After which, you will be required to present to the management panel in early August 2011, and the outcome of your application will be released in mid August.
If you have any queries, please feel free to drop an email to nus.sus.fund@gmail.com .
