The livestock industry is a major contributor to climate change and it accounts for 18% of the world’s global greenhouse gas emissions, more than that of the world’s transport sector*. Dr Rajendra Pachauri, chief of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has encouraged global citizens to “give up meat for one day [a week] initially, and decrease it from there” to effectively reduce an individual’s carbon footprint.

Our current eating practices need urgent and dramatic change, find out more about the benefits of a diet with less meat on our health in this inspiring and life-changing afternoon with Professor Campbell as he share about his 20-year long China Study, one of the most comprehensive research on health and nutrition ever conducted. This study has examined more than 350 variables of health and nutrition across 2,500 counties.
