Retail and Dining Services

Retail and Dining Division oversees and manages the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, convenience stores and vending machines at the common areas on campus.

Regular inspections and ad-hoc spot checks are conducted to ensure that all vendors adhere to contract requirements, rules and regulations as well as hygiene standards.


OED manages and oversees the daily operations of the following dining services on campus:
1) 4 canteens
2) 1 food court
3) 12 cafes
4) 5 kiosks
5) 2 fastfood restaurants
6) 1 convenience store
7) 1 cafeteria (Bukit Timah Campus)
8) 1 cafe (Bukit Timah Campus)
9) Various types of vending machines


Regular inspections and ad-hoc spot checks, to ensure that all outlets and vending machine operations adhere to the contract requirements, rules and regulations, and hygiene standards, are conducted. There is a yearly contract with an appointed agency to carry out regular microbiological testing of food sold in the outlets to ensure that a high standard of hygiene is maintained
