Shaw Foundation Alumni House
(part of Alumni Complex)
The Alumni Complex project is a joint development between NUS and National University of Singapore Society (NUSS). It comprises the NUS Alumni House and re-development of the NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House.
The Alumni House has a total of 12,000 m2 GFA to provide for state-of-the-art facilities like seminar rooms, secretariat support services for Alumni groups and a 300-seat auditorium where NUS Alumni can meet, network and forge closer ties through workshops, conferences and special Alumni events. The NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House has 8,024 m2 GFA to provide for social and recreational facilities like F&B outlets, jackpot rooms and a multi-purpose function hall. There is also a plan to re-develop the existing Guild House to provide another 3,457 m2 of recreation space amongst other sporting facilities such as a gymnasium, billiard rooms and a children centre.
As a whole, both components share a collective vision to make the Alumni Complex a meaningful symbol to enrich the lives of their constituents - which include Alumni members, faculty, students, guests and visitors - and to draw them back to the university campus throughout their lives.
