What would you miss most in OED?

The conducive working environment and the staff lounge which I have yet to enjoy!

Who would you miss most in OED?

Everyone in OED has touched my life in some way or another, even the housekeepers, groundsmen, security guards, drivers and gardeners. So it's very hard to decide who gets my vote as I will remember each and everyone in OED for different things. I will definitely miss all my co-workers in the Admin & Finance team, the Onsite Editorial board, as well as the SWRC committee whom have all gone through thick and thin with me.

What have you gained from OED and would like to share with the OED/NUS Community?

That nothing is impossible (although I think not many would agree with me!). I think one of the most important lessons I have gained from OED is the fact that your dreams will materialise if you believe in them strong enough to make the effort to bring them to life. Of course, the challenge also lies in convincing the boss to share the same belief. But the main thing is to always dream, and dream big, as your world will be the size of your dreams.

Tell us more about yourself and what you like to do at your free time.

I am a person who thrives on challenges because I like to see my limits stretch as I grow. I do a lot of sports, especially during the weekends, to relieve stress. I also like to check out on investment opportunities during my free time, as a form of retirement planning.

Who would you want to thank most in OED?

Prof Yong Kwet Yew and Mr Andrew Tan who have given me so much of their time mentoring and guiding me throughout my career. I have learnt many valuable lessons from them, both in professional and personal aspects. I would like to thank them for their patience and everything that they've done for me during the past 4 years. The other people whom also deserve mention have left, and they are Mr Lim Tuan Seng and Mdm Low Hwee Kuan. I hope they know how grateful I am to them for their guidance and belief in me.
